Sounds like you'll be ok on the leg cut if it missed the tendon. Mainly amoxicillin 500mg 2 a day for 20 to 30 days are on a bigger dog 3 a day for 2 weeks

Amoxicillin would be a better fit for a cut dog. Rotate cut and heal with vetricen and you will heal them up quickly. Title: Re: Cut dog Post by: Reuben on January 21, 2016, 08:19:14 pm if you have any friends that go to Mexico you can have them pick you up a couple of amoxicillin bottles of 100 pills each and 500 mg capsules for about 10 or 12 dollars per bottle...one pill a day and cut heal twice a day and your dog will usually recover quickly if it is not a tendon or intestine puncture etc...usually don't need the amoxicillin.
Title: Re: Cut dog Post by: dallas22 on January 25, 2016, 01:48:41 pm It been a week since dog was cut he's doing good but still not using his leg he got a hole between the tendon and leg kinda like where you cut a deer to hang up. Should i worry even if the tendon is not cut. I kinda feel like i just need to give him time its not like the leg is just hanging. What are yall thoughts on this?
Title: Re: Cut dog Post by: Reuben on January 25, 2016, 07:21:24 pm cut heal twice a day and it should grow back together

Title: Re: Cut dog Post by: l.h.cracker on January 25, 2016, 07:44:16 pm Vetricyn gel is really good as well I like it much better than the the regular liquid spray heals huge deep cuts very quickly.

But then he wanted to get xrays and all kinds of stuff witch would of been 365 dollars. I didnt feel all that other stuff was necessary so im just gonna give him time.
