This brindle Mtn cur x pit male I raised has been out striking my lead dog the last couple times out at just over a year old, I couldn't be prouder, he has an excellent handle and is just an overall pleasure to hunt with. He struck two fat sows last night, both over 200 lbs, and this boar below about a month ago, his sister behind him in the pic hunts just about the same, just not striking yet

They're pretty tight mouthed, but the Mtn cur line they come from is also, he barks a little pitbull bark when he's looking at a hog, then grabs on as soon as help arrives, he is open in hot pursuit. I have two others from that litter that are doing pretty well but need a little more hog time. I had six pups from that litter originally, but two just didn't suit me, I'll probably cull one more but 3 out of six aint bad!!
