Title: Dog Training Post by: Fox Creek Kennels on March 15, 2016, 03:18:38 pm I got a redbone dog that will take a track and hunt out deep in fresh sign but if no sign he stays close range. Any tips on getting him to go hunt deep in no sign?

Next time you cast him and he doesn't want to roll out, catch him and tie him up to where he can't sit down or get comfortable without choking himself, leave him like that for several hours and continue your hunt, the key to it is making him realize that being around you or the truck isn't comfortable for him, would be even better if you could have a bay where he could here it and still leave him tied up, after a couple sessions of that they've usually casted out after that.
