Title: Dogs testicals are swollen Post by: JandAoutdoors on March 25, 2016, 05:57:17 pm Went hunting the other day and dogs got on a hog, but when we finished hunting the my dog wasn't acting right. And I was checking on him today and I see his Testicals are swollen pretty bad. Anybody ever had this problem? Any help or advice would be great. Thanks in advance.

If you can't get to the vet in a few days, I see you're going in the morning, it's best to get them started on some tetracycline or doxycycline if available.

Sucked because he was a hell of a dog. Yeah I think it's called testicular torsion. All the veins and connective tissues in the sack twist around and cut off the circulation. Pretty rough deal. Sucked because he was a hell of a dog. I had a soldier do a similar thing doing pt while in iraq. His junk swole up bigger than a soft ball and finally was able to get down to bahgdad and they were able to untwist and save his berries. |
