Title: Hoss river Barr
Post by: l.h.cracker on April 26, 2016, 01:47:28 am
My young dog Henry broke his elbow back in February and my vet told me he didn't think he would ever be able to hunt again.2 months off duty and I decided to give him a test run on the river. He hunted his tail off , my Lady gyp and him jumped this bar in the terrible nasty palmetos had it caught but it broke before we could get there and ran this thing for miles through the thick crossed a big cypress swamp and back through more terrible nasty palmetos and finally got him stopped again backed up and bayed this time.Got within 60 yds and cut Titus done deal. That's a good one for sure. Looks like Henry  done good..  How did he come out of the hunt?  I have a dog that got a tendon cut in his shoulder we are trying to bring back

Most the vets around here try get you to spend the most money possible, dogs have amazing healing capabilities, my wife's dog got a foxtail in here lungs, the vet said she would die from it or be chronicly sick, so we paid for an endoscopy get to remove it, but they couldn't find it, she was sick for a while and we had to give her a couple rounds of antibiotics but shes been fine now for months, I appreciate my vet but they aren't always right

Same here. We have 2 right around me I really like. But one will tell me just what I can get by with and the other will push hard for me to spend the extra money.
