Title: How tight is too tight Post by: TShelly on February 27, 2017, 05:25:57 pm I'm not really good with numbers and on how tight these dogs can be. I'm contemplating a fathers daughter cross. My gyp is out of boogie but he is getting so old and sick we need to get some more pups out of him. I've always heard father/daughter cross was the best way to reproduce the sire.

He got his really tight. I can tell you this cross isn't too tight. These dogs are doing great.

Based on what you have written if I wanted to tighten up on Boogie I would do exactly the same as you propose.
The next question is will it produce what you are hoping for, maybe, maybe not but only one way to find out. Good luck, looks like a nice breeding to me. |
