Title: 5-6-18 Hunt Post by: Mike on May 06, 2018, 08:41:30 pm Had a cluster of a hunt this morning with Kai, Fixitlouie and his crew. First drop, dogs jumped a red boar hog and he showed them the country on a 5 mile loop. Must have ran thru some other hogs and scattered the dogs. I finally got them toned in one by one. Regrouped, moved across the ranch and dropped again. Dogs hit another group that split. We bayed a good sow, while three of my other dogs headed south with another good boar hog. By the time I check my Garmin they were over a mile off the place and rolling. That turned into a long walk... I’m getting too old for this $hit haha!

Title: Re: 5-6-18 Hunt Post by: Fixitlouie on May 07, 2018, 11:20:47 am Day started beautiful. Then sun came out. Dogs did great considering this was one of the days were dogs get over heated. A quick trip to the pond and all the pups got back at it after a marathon.... Fantastic!!

U know I kinda like them runners shows what kinda dogs u got there always a joy to a runner finally stopping cuz any one can get a pack of pot lickers and catch hogs but to catch runner after runner that is what separates good dogs from just dogs so next time u have ran one for 30 mins and have only heard two barks and they are 3 miles from we’re u started and every dog is sitting there singing say to ur self dang I got some good dogs but good job mike as usual y’all keep tearing them upSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Title: Re: 5-6-18 Hunt Post by: Mike on May 09, 2018, 06:50:59 am Thanks fellas. The sad part about it is that these should have been some easy hogs haha. I’ve hunted all around there before, you get on a good running hog every now and then.
