Hi there l.h.cracker The majority of my hunting is from the truck. I also hunt on foot in some deep gully's and ruggered creeks. The dogs are left loose to hunt out and find sent or sign and move on. They all wind scent from the truck and trail scent to an extent. They range from 1/2 a mile to 2 miles or so. Anymore than that would kill me specially in the country I hunt. They are hard nose dogs that have no bail. They will hold one out if needed and will catch there own out of a mob and run on. They are silent hunters. A true Bullarab consist of English Bull terrier, Greyhound, German short haired Pointer and Bloodhound. They have been around for 30+ years. They have been hunted successfully in all terrains of Australia.
