Title: Bad weather hog Post by: Slim9797 on June 16, 2019, 09:14:32 pm Smiley called and wanted to make a round at some new country he got us. I drove through hail and 60 mph winds to get to cooks point to meet him. Looked like we were gonna catch a 2 hour window before dark of clear weather, turned out at 7 pm. Sketch hit a hog about 700 yards from the truck. He broke and ran to the neighbors. Bayed 155 yards across the fence. Called the guy who happens to be smileys boss, no sooner does he say yeah go get them the hog breaks back on to the ranch we were hunting. Hits the creek and they bay him in a big cut bank. Talked the dogs back and burned him down. Ended up being a big barr hog.
