(http://i622.photobucket.com/albums/tt309/jeffeasttx/boar10-28-091.jpg) Well decided to make another round, so i called a buddy of mine to bring a few more dogs. we caught a decent boar right off the bat. teeth weren't really big, but he knew how to use them. cut a few dogs nothing too bad. then he put his running walker on the ground, ive never hunted with one but man, he had a cold cold nose, not my type of hunting. we ended up cold trailing several hogs, and they kept breaking before we could get to them. On the good note another friend found my hazel dog about 12 miles from where i was hunting her, her cut vest and cut collar and tracking collar was off of her. So that tells me someone found her and probably had her on a chain and she got off, and my friend found her by the highway heading in the direction of where we were hunting. Title: Re: another boar 10-28-09 Post by: jeffeasttx on October 29, 2009, 10:14:38 am thanks doubleb she is half pit and half cur, she is 13 months old, if she can hear the dogs baying she is gone to them. she catches good. the hog is dead in the pic the dogs was just messing around with him. the dog is the back is a 2 yo ybmc, use him as a running catch dog, he doesn't bark at all just catch
