I agree with that Cajun. The raising has a lot to do with a lot. Some of them are just that way though. I wish you the best bud. If they are as good as momma and daddy look you’re in business.

Once the picking is done if you have a female left I'd sure like to buy one from you, lost my good female this last spring and had a run of bad luck trying to get a litter outa two old dogs, so I'm back to square one....

  Hate to hear that Goose. As of now we have 6 pups. The runt died the first night and the rest are all spoken for. If she would have had enough you would have been more the welcome to one of them. If somebody backs out, I'll let you know.

Yep losing the litter of pups was kinda expected considering age of the female, but losing Bella was a hard blow to the gut, she was hands down by far the most intelligent bulldog, heck dog period that I've ever been blessed to own, I believe some of her brains was from the family she was out of but what made her so dang smart that it was scary was she was raised her entire puppy hood in the house by a teenage girl, it's crazy she even acted like a lady, all prim and proper and well mannered, I might own some one day that could be descendants of Einstein but they'll never be her, there's still an awkward empty void in my house and life, my sister found her ran over on the hwy while I was on the road working shutdowns, running a dang fox of all things, my heart sank when she called me squalling her eyes and said " I hate to be the one that has to tell you this", I was scared to death shaking like a leaf thinking something happened to my mother or son, from the time he could comprehend I've always told my son that were almost always going to out live our best friends, it's just the way the world turns, good mannered high performance catch dogs are getting harder and harder to find, I sure thank you for even considering me to began with....

Sorry to hear that Goose,  replacing those dogs like that are dang near impossible. I still miss that Gus dog I after a year and a half. Good luck finding something.

Pups are 5 weeks old today and Larry and his wife have done a great job socializing them.

They sure do look good. That brindle pup looks almost identical to my old Vegas dog. As much as I hate to pick on color, he could eat my feed anytime. I hope they perform as good as they look for you.

That’s the one I would’ve picked Cajun. I would’ve been on color too. He looks like he could’ve been out of my old Vegas dog. I hope you think as much of him one day as I did Vegas.

Rhino is 6 months old and 40-45#. I don’t know if he is a real bulldog or not but he is catching already. We put him on  a shoat about a month ago or so and he caught on the ear. Two other females in that litter are catching also. As far as I know the others have not had a chance to try their pups.

Yep, I am looking at him maturing around 80#.  The Dam weighs right at 75#. At first I didnt care for her only because she was so hot and fired up when you broke her off a bay. After a little electric therapy she has calmed down and made one heck of a catchdog. We have caught a lot of hogs with her and so far(knock on wood) she has not missed yet and she is on the ear every time.

Nice pup…when you said his name was Rhino it took my memory back about 40 years…my brother had a nice catch dog about 80-90 pounds named Rhino and about the same color as your pup…it’s a good name for a good sized catch dog…
