You are probably talking about the Texas guide that produced all the dogs on hogs video. Believe he has a website and lots of videos that you can watch hog hunting if your luck has been bad lately.  ;)

This is about true, he is 7/8 BMC 1/8 Trigg hound that's 15 months now and is a great looking dog.
Yes it's the Dan the does the Dogs on Hogs videos. I had a dog get killed and was in need of a another good started dog. Dan happened to message me on facebook around this time about a bulldog I had for sale and we got to talking. To make a long story short I found out he was selling 2 dogs. Anyways I talked back and forth with Dan ALOT before I bought him and he's a real nice guy and appears to believe in this line of dogs he has. So anyways I loaded up to Granted I've only had the dog 3 months but I am however a little dissapointed in the dog though as far as how he was "supposed" to hunt out and how he does.

a good one it is...  ;D

Just Kidding, i dont know him or his dogs..... but for what JBurns paid for his, he should be doing something to earn his feed...
But i guess there had to be some reason Dan would want to sell him...  :-\

I called dan about 6 yrs ago regarding a STARTED bmc gyp.....STARTED! asking price was $800.00. Either he is extremely fond of his dogs or they really are that good. rolleyes His 3 dvds are still my favourite in my collection though and his dog pack is what i like to see in a set of dogs,I have heard he hunts a LOT of high fence so it would be fair to say his dogs get a lot of exopsure in a controlled area over a short amount of time, they look like hunting machines in my opinion.

Nope hadn't tried her yet. We are doing some bonding. The guy told me she would go with the strike dog and is kinda rough at the bay. Always stays busy but needs work and hasn't struck her own pigs yet.

That what he started out at on the dog I got, he said he had a good started one for $1500, I had to pass on that. I got the dog for a little less than the $800 but still high dollar for a started dog.
