Hog hunting aint a free sport or hobby. Just because the dog is free or box ect... You still got gas and time involved. Your first post you asked if someone had any pups around 3 months or so old and was pretty much stating that you would take some off there hands. Well if they're free and you had to drive 250 miles round trip. Do the math depending on your trucks gas/diesel consumption NOTHINS FREE or cheap.

Best dog I've owned came from NE Oklahoma, Tulsa area, and was advertised on ETHD.   Cost a whopping $200.00 to have her shipped to me, and the delivery guy even met Mike and I in the woods to drop her off.   

Sure glad an Okie posted her up for sale in the EAST TEXAS HOG DOGGERS site ;)

When I first saw someone on here from California I thought, oh my what has happened here? Then I remembered I got family there and they have horses and drive 4X4's. People are quick to judge based on where someone is from. I saw some US troops laughing at the Aussies and saying stupid things about them. So I kept my mouth shut and did not tell them green horns they should learn something from them. By the next day it was us and the Aussies moving out because the laughing boys could not handle the desert. Now I will give an Okie a ribbing but I expect it back. You boys from LA can do the cooking any time and you can always find a backwoods boy that can teach you something. That don't mean I won't talk a bit of smack but as long as we can sit down and relax it is all good.

I must say that I have liked everyone I met from Oklahoma. Seems like good people to me. You can let your boy read that. I have been all over this country and a few other countries and I must say Texas has some good neighbors. If your boy is growing up in Oklahoma he is growing up in a good place.
