They type I use are designed to be on a runnin dog. Theyre all ozzie vests. My suggestion for a stag vest is when your looking at one make sure the leg holes are long from front of shoulder/leg back to wear the leg can make full range of motion at the ribs. If it stops the dogs legs from making that full range motion when they pull theyre elbow back at wide open run youll be killing theyre speed. Which is the stag/hairy dogs advantage.

I thought you were going to say the Australian style plates. I have seen pigga frigga and hairy holders on old posts and it seemed like these were made or at least distributed in the us. Can you get them in the us or did you import?
I like the breast plates, the range of motion and fit clearly look better but I am wary of the seatbelt material. A hunting partner of mine has one built for a Pitt and it is much heavier when wet than cordura and viper cloth. I have had two pass through holes. One got the dog and one didn't. I will say it has held up to some good hogs though. After everything I have read on here about vests it seems they can all be penetrated at some point. Overall I really like the vest.
