Title: Dog thieving mother f*"#ers
Post by: l.h.cracker on June 28, 2015, 06:09:56 pm
My daughter and I drove south 4 hrs Friday after work to pick up a dog the dog was very impressive and I purchased the dog.I normally wait to hunt a new dog but he was really smart and took right to me.So this morning we head out for a hunt and I decided to bring Debo the new dog.The property we hunted is 3000acres and runs between the river and a 2 lane highway.we walked for a couple hrs with out much happening and the dogs strike a pack they all split and I got em 700 in all directions well Debo runs his to the road hits the fence and starts paralleling the road then trees. So I take off to him about 2 minutes after he trees I lose communications with him he was about 800yds when he treed and I got there fairly quick. When I walked to right where I dropped him it is on the white line of the road no blood no skid marks not a single track on the other side of the road just damn disappeared with out a trace. Caught up all the dogs walked the couple miles back to the truck rode around up and down the roa, adjacent properties and never picked him up again. Gone without a trace no phone calls nothing, gone damnit.Jam up dog cut collar and tracking collar disappeared.Maybe I'm jumping to conclusions but it sure looks like my dog got stolen there are a lot of hog hunters around that area and I know a good deal of them so maybe he'll be found I sure hope so.Anyway this is him he was lost in Sanford Florida off state road 46 Between 415 and the boat ramp my phone number is (386)215-3339.He's a neutered male with a half tail 65# really tall and leggy(http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n432/itsacaseytime/Mobile%20Uploads/2015-06/KIMG0133.jpg)[/URL[URL=http://s338.photobucket.com/user/itsacaseytime/media/Mobile%20Uploads/2015-06/KIMG0130.jpg.html](http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n432/itsacaseytime/Mobile%20Uploads/2015-06/KIMG0130.jpg) (http://s338.photobucket.com/user/itsacaseytime/media/Mobile%20Uploads/2015-06/KIMG0133.jpg.html)

Dang, I hope you Find the dog. Weren't you just bragging on him in another post? Check Craigslist,  maybe someone scooped hin up thinking he was lost and will do the right thing and try and find the owner. Did he have a name plate on with your number on it? Those have saved my tail (no pun intended) many times. Specially when I  ran hounds , they would go for miles and miles.Good luck with finding him.

He has a half tail and he's neutered  he's got some scars on his face he has a long coat but there is a few scars you can see one on his left rib cage that's a couple inches long tall dog bout 65# lots of leg pretty big head to.I didn't have a name plate but where he was snatched its obvious where I was hunting no one brought him up front to the house and his collar was on so if they waited for 10 minutes I'd have showed up. He had a cut collar on and a dayglow orange dc40 on.They turned my collar off immediately. I hate a thief.

I posted him on Craigslist and southern airboat also called the humane society and gave description he is also chipped.Best I can do is wait and see.I know a lot of the dog men around and they're all looking as well.

Well now I feel like a real jerk for jumping to conclusions. I found my dog in the animal shelter a sheriff picked him up and brought him in.I am happy that he wasn't stolen and take back all the cursing I did all night.

My T 15 collars will lose signal in a dog box, so I'd almost imagine he loaded him up inside the vehicle and it lost signal.

He turned the collar off because when I got the dog the next day and turned it on it had full battery and I will tell you why revenue. He wrote me a ticket for $130 for a animal at large and no leash. He knew that I was coming I'm telling you he had the dog caught and collar off within 2 minutes of the dog making it to the fence line I go to my dogs fast when I think they're caught and I was sure he was.I was following hog tracks and his right behind so he saw the dog running and called him his tracks were on the inside of the fence until the spot he was picked up there's a good dry spot to cross the ditch. It is what is though and I am happy to have him back. Can't wait to see his full potential.

I wpuld fight that animal at large ticket. Thats some shady crap the deputy did. He knew the dog was hunting and if not, he is 1 more stupid cop added to the list. He aint no different than a thief

Believe me I really want to I don't see how he was at large if he only made it 20' outside of the fence on private property that I was called to remove the pigs from. I support my pregnant wife and 3 kids there ain't no way I have the time to fight a ticket in the next county over.If I only missed one day of work I'd be loosing double so I am going to pay the unjust fine that Barney the dog thief gave me.I already had to miss one day of work going to pick the damn dog up.

And that is what they hope for, you wont fight it. Its turning a blind eye to unjust and illegal actions. You should file theft charges on the swine. Im sure between the cost of the dog and the stuff u had on the dog is valued at well over $500.

Oh I am completely aware I have never been one to take things lying down.I once took a $63 boat speeding ticket to trial and won but it took 6 months and 4 trips to the same Seminole county courthouse. My wife rode my arse about it but they sited me for speeding in a normal operations zone 30mph and I was on a 16' Carolina skiff with a 25hp motor and 3 grown men be lucky to make 25mph.I just really don't have the time.

I don't know where they find this new breed of cop.. they mustve been picked on in school or something.  Power of the badge is a dangerous thing..

Id still file theft charges on that deputy, unless yaw dont hav a clause where if yaw r hunting it voids that bs no leash ticket. That would b the same as him coming up to your tree stand/blind and taking your rifle/bow from you and giving u a ticket for failure to secure your weapon.
