Title: Opening day Post by: DavidTBH on January 14, 2019, 07:19:37 am First time out this year. Deer hunters finally done in the area. Took my nephew, my blue dog and gyp sadie. Went with a crowd this time. I like a hunt with 2 or 3 people most times but first day out it was cool to be with good freinds. Eddie had lalu and ray brought kacy. Had em winding from the trailer. They all started acting piggy off a pond so we cut loose. That lalu dog strikes a group and dog split up. Lalu kept with one by himself that didnt make it but 100 yards or so before she sat down. Cut rays mohawk dog and seal that one. Move dogs out to catch up with kacy on another but lalu struck another before we get to her. Small boar. Seal him up and move to her but they went off to the races and we missed. So ended with 2 not counting piglets. Or count piglets, a pigs a pig,lol Nephew was catching em. Hes gonna be my new cd.

I have a good buddy that use to count unborn pigs lol. He said if they were alive when he got to them and dead or tied when he left they counted. A pig is a hog he said. Lol we still get a good laugh out of that.
