Title: California pup Post by: t-dog on July 01, 2019, 08:40:25 pm Well the Rednose brought my pup out from California. I have high expectations for her. She sure is a purdy thing and both parents are quality. My one dilemma is whether to give her an either or name or wait to name her until she decides which gender she wants to be! Neither are 100% silent but very tight mouthed for the most part. I expect she is going to push a track incredibly fast and she already shows lots of intelligence. I'm excited about her.

The dad came from a really good bear and fox hunter, he been breeding this line for the last 30 or so years. JRichard McDuffie created the line of Leopard Curs...they are track and tree dogs on most any type of game such as bear, coon, and hog...they are hunting dogs and not stock dogs but probably can make stock dogs if trained... McDuffie passed away about 8 or 10 years ago...leopard curs have been renamed to leopard hounds...some are starting to look like blueticks...
