Title: Back in the city Post by: Mike on November 07, 2019, 07:01:18 am Stuck back in the big city chasing hogs until deer and duck seasons are over. Caught a feisty boar hog and another small one on the first drop. Turned my two 18 month old brindle pups loose after that... they slipped off and showed bayed after a little while. I figured they had a coon in a tree or armadillo in a hole haha. After doctoring on a dog and going to get another one... we finally got to them about an hour later. They had a group of about 10 hogs bayed up... circling them as pretty as could be. Of course, my young catch dog ran in not knowing which one to grab and off to the races. They ended up catching a small sow about a mile away on alligator island... we called it a day.

We used to have a place in New Orleans city limits that we could hunt all thru deer season and turkey season but they shut it down for everybody a few years ago.
