Title: Catch n release hunt Post by: GOODEN on August 22, 2020, 11:17:28 am Had a pretty good morn with a few good buddies. Had trouble finding sign after catching the lil sow but managed to end the morning with a nice boar hog. He’s a lil lighter in the rear end now. Haven’t been in the woods in a while but it sure felt good to get back in em!! My 2 young dogs I took done pretty good. The lil male winded hogs before good daylight and that’s where we jumped the sow.

She came from my buddy, one of the best dogs he’s had, she’s a proven producer. My buddy had young dogs off of her doing real well so he let me get her. She’s not suicidal but she’s pretty darn rough. If it’s not a monster or there’s a second dog she’s catching. I’ve never been a hound guy, but I’ve seen a couple like her that were crossed that have impressed me
