Got off work loaded John and Willie. Rode to a spot I’d been cornin up! Turn out and 15min later they bayed 650 yds. Got her caught took a couple pics and sent her back on er way. Nice when it happens like that!    Ol Willie |

Well I ain’t posted anything for a while but I’ve finally got me a decent set of dogs. A good friend of mine gave me 3 pups out of his main dogs about 2 years ago and they all turned out real well. I gave both of my little brothers dogs and now they are fired up. My Willie dog on the left and his pup Duke in the middle. My bro’s John dog on right.  My two bro’s on the left with their first hog by theirselves.    |

Me and my buddy took our pups out yesterday morning. We drop the pups and let them run... all came back except for my Willie dog and my buddy’s walker dog. Look at the gps and they are showing treed at 600 ... get in close hear them both bayin. All the other pups got there and caught. It was both pups first time on a hog by themselves. Me, my little brother and my little cousins made a run to my uncles lease Friday evening. We dropped dogs right at dark with nothing much happening right off.. around 8:30 my Clyde dog hit a group of pigs and sows. All I had was him and a pup.. I kicked Willie to him and they both had groups bayed. I don’t have a bulldog so I was trying to get in close to try and shoot one but they kept moving. Clyde finally caught a little pig and willie was baying several in a group by his self. I caught the pig and Clyde rolled out and bayed two big sows close to my little bro he called and said do you want me to ease in and shoot I said go for it but just be careful. I get back to the wheelers with the little pig and hear him shoot. He called and said I got her. Overall we had a good time I really would have liked to catch them with a catchdog but we made due with what we had.)

Me and my little brother decided, one evening during bow season to move a tree stand around. We both brought our bows and we’re gonna try to make a hunt after we set it up. We get it set and I pull my stuff up. My little bro hunts about 80 Yds from me... as he’s walking to his stand I hear something coming in front of me and look up to see a doe coming... she starts blowing at my bro then keeps coming, she walks under my stand and stops to eat and I shot her at 8 yds. She takes off then crashes about 40 yds away. I set down trying to figure out what just happened then I hear a buck grunting. He came in and I shot him at 25 yds... needless to say I was pumped.
