Best dog iv hunted with guy got her at 5 years, she is 8 now and will out strike any dog iv hunted with. All he did was broke her off deer and all that and kept her in hogs . If u know the litter mates are hog dogs I would defionatly give her a try. Good luck !

I had a strike dog run a stick in his eye it turned almost solid white for a little over a month I thnk. But after that it slowly started to heal and finally got back to normal I just put some drops in it every other day and kept it cleaned out. And also the best catch dog iv hunted with had one eye.

Ok I am wondering if anyone has ever used a grey hound mix as a strike dog . I don't really know anything about the breed thought they wer more of a catch dog. I have one and love him he is very quick bout 85 pounds never regrips very smart! Not saying this is common in the breed.
