Well I'm back at it this year with a whole new set of dogs.After last year losing all my dogs to one pig I  had to regroup. Thanks to some good friends getting me some new dogs I worked my tail off through deer season training them.It was there first hunt out in the woods  that was not a mock hunt,took a whole 5 minutes. Turned them out they took a track and bayed up at 325 yards in a tank.I'm super proud of this new group .

So I have 5 dc 50s all the sudden two of them the buttons had  come off one I have noticed too late and got water damage.so I have to send in to get repairs. My question is have any of yall sent collars in for repair and how long did it take?and also I have searched the Internet  for a new button for the other and all I have found in in a different  country and will take 2 months to get here. Does anyone have a better idea where to get on?thank you

I had a dc 50collar do that once I had to hold the button down for quiet  some time it finally went to working.

What I was referring to was  they said he was raised in a bay pen his whole life  my question was who was the one that actually raised him and if he got turned out or just escaped . Guess he escaped for someone else than who u thought.

Who was the one that raised that pig and let him out if yall know some much about him.

I know a man that has a reg. border  collie that will find and catch a hog no problem. Has far as stamina don't think u will have a problem for heat the have a short hair collie. Might look at the Mc Nab collies. Know ppl say the will go all day long.

I have a pit that is missing a k9 tooth  and I haven't lost  a hog  yet. He lost his when two running catch dogs were caught  on ears he caught on jaw which shoved his tooth through the roof of his mouth. From what I seen it has not phased him.

Typo 2nd hog was at 450yds

Well its been a while since I have been out hunting  since just  having  my  baby boy. But  anyways turned the dogs out  at the corn feeder at 7 yesterday  morning at 7:05  dogs were baying at 950yards.  When I  finally got to where they were at they had 2 hogs bayed in tank,  all dogs caught on one hog  so after I finally got one hog down looked up and the other was gone. Sent dogs out  where I seen it last and shortly after had the 2nd hog bayed back up at 950yards in another tank. Sent tater in to seal the deal and it was finally over. All in all it was a good morning . Can't complain after catching two for the day.

As hunter  when I hunt ppl places the landowners don't want any more hogs on there  place if u  barr a hog u r still turning those hogs out to do tons of dollars worth of damage to the land.even know they can't reproduce they r still causing damage. And if the landowners ever knew that I was to turn one back out I would not be hunting there anymore.

Guess  hogdog hunter86 can make all the money in the world being a offshore engineer correction drilling  that no one cares how much money he  makes   but he still trying to rub it in ppl faces and he still can't buy a brain.

A friend of mine called yesterday and ask if I could take his brother and his son on there first hog hunt  with dogs. I said sure .  So this morning we loaded  the dogs up and went hunting didn't take long dogs bayed this boar on and other side of the river  .Hog ran back across to our side of river and was bayed at 200 yards . The kid got to turn the catch dog loose and stab his first pig. Nothing like seeing the smiles on there faces  and the memory they will have together of that hunt, and getting kids out in the outdoors nothing better. The father offered to pay me but i said no after that boy just told me I had made his week getting to go hunt that was priceless.

had a good hunt this morning dogs  had her bayed in the river for 45min  at 3/4 of mile away. finally got a hold of land owner  went and got the dogs . had to swim across river and get  the dogs and pig had her bayed up under a rock in the water. all in all it was a good Easter morning hunt.

thats what i thought wonder what bump thinks about that.   one thing about deer hunters there on every corner u can always find new ones
