1  THE CLASSIFIEDS / THE DOG TRADE / SOLD on: May 18, 2017, 02:48:05 pm
I have a 4 year old finished bloodtracker. She works for money in South Texas, and the Hill Country. She is my #2, and my son runs her alot. I have some video, references, and pictures. I'd like a pup out of her with the right cross; but I don't have room with pups coming from my other gyp. Her mom is  Leonard Gonzales hog dog in Webb County, Catahoulla X wright BMC. Her dad is July x Trigg hound out of utah cat and bear dog. She can run for miles, and has a hell of a nose. She's a little catchy; mostly bay; but she's dang good at finding a tough one, and staying with him, even when she tries to catch and gets one to break. She can go!! She would  throw some great hog pups too..  Excellent disposition and manners with anyone. I can text some pics, vids and references if interested. She's made us money every fall.

3  HOG & DOGS / GENERAL DISCUSSION / Re: deer dogs on: January 17, 2014, 05:39:53 pm
I run a lacy and a redbone/cat cross. Hound has a better nose, works a little slower, and has a little more size to bring a live one down or get him bleeding again( most calls are live deer). I have a couple of cur/hound pups that are going to be amazing. I have a friend that runs a lab and a lab/plott cross. The tough part for the labs in texas is that they seem to get hot quicker than the curs. She will stop and rest though. My curs scare me because they will run themselves to death. Dog has to be able to bay IMO because most lost deer are not dead. It will be a catch situation. Good luck man!! I love it! So do my kids!
