I have always liked the heelers, a more loyal dog was never born I do not think . They can be a little sharp. They are slick little fighters a lot of time able to kill a big coon with out much danger to them selves . Mine is good with the kids , puppies can eat with him, but male dogs he does not know are targeted on our property.. I wish I could find some guys looking for trap line dogs or something like that ..Swamp Rooster ..

That little sucker dug out of his kennel and went through another fence to get to her on literally the last day she could have took...I wish it would have been my airedale that got her lol.. I was thinking the same thing , they might be to hard a dog for most people. The bulldog is sweet as sugar but that heeler can be rough. He is great with my kids but he is protective of them... That is why I got him in the first place . Swamp Rooster

Anyone on here ever use or hunt with a pit heeler cross? I have litter coming anytime and am real tempted to keep a few. I mostly coon hunt and a little bear hunting. I did not plan this at all , the dad is the heeler and a tough as nails hard worker , mother our house dog pit. She is a friendly bulldog and built well. Heeler is great with my kids ,horses, chickens ....hell on people not invited or bear that come in the yard.. Any info from anyone that has had this cross let me know. Thank you .. Swamp Rooster.
