There is a man on here by the name of mike Rodgers from Stevensville area he raises them I have hunted behind one of his young hounds was silent and gritty and long range iam geting a male from him soon I have high hopes for

How dose bringing something like wolfhound or deer hound to lets say a leggy Line of Catahoula lets say my dogs wind well and were seeing the pigs at 400plus and the dogs are just getting smoked its open scrub b brush type flats and like I said we can see the pigs at a good distance and watch the dogs fall off

I always had both in my pack really cold nosed dogs mixed in with the moderately cold nosed hounds worked good for me if I needed more pressure I dropped faster dogs with most of faster dogs had a touch of grayhound in them worked for me never had a chance to run bobcats but would like to

Mine is a Doberman she is a soild dog will strike in fresh sign and can wind a hog pretty well the thing I like the most about her is she will run one down and not quite a race fastest dog I've ever had

Couldn't agree more with red nose theses dogs can be hot and definitely have to be on your toes with them socialize is huge and dont get caught sleeping on the job I have been fortunate to have been around many true gamebred pits and have had a great success rate with them catching but not for a ever day person the more they work the better they are use that drive for the right reason
