CHICO
THE LEGAND CONTINUES

Man what a weekend, I don't think I slept much the three days before Saturday, last night I was comatose by 8:30p.m.
I hoped everyone enjoyed themselves and the only thing I'lll add to this is a big thank you to
Josh Kinser(active military) and Leroy Sisco(retired 3star general) for getting in contact with me to put this whole thing in motion.

Guys and Gals, if you've ever thought about putting one of these hunts together and decided not to because of the difficulty in getting help, I'll be the first to tell you, get that thought out of your mind, we had an outpouring of volunteerism for this weekend. I'd like to think it was my great personality that brought all this help but the truth is, you won't find many people or businesses that won't help, that we all have a family member or friend serving or who has served in our armed forces.

I realized this weekend life is full of choices, none of these guys signed up to recieve these injuries but new the chance was there and still served with honor and duty and commitment to country and their fellow soldier. I am truly humbled.

Chris, thank you for helping this weekend, let me know when I can ever return this huge favor.

Most of the worst scars on my old cd's have come from tusseling with those rats, Blue had half his face peeled back from one he caught. Longshot had a pit that would killem' without getting so much as a nick.

Cody I got the call from the same customer about what had happened today. I don't know exactly what happened since I wasn't on this hunt but I can assure you it wasn't for lack of any effort on his part to get to the hog. The hog by the way weighed 335 and had 3in. teeth. The first ? I asked was how bad were the cuts and if any of them were underneath the arms(that's where mine usually get them, the hog rakes them under the shoulder hole) and no the hog didn't do this so I'll wait to see the vest tom. when we hunt to make any conclusions about the vest. I was the one who recommemded the vest and for now still stand by it,(sinced that is all I have run on my dogs for the last 3 yrs). I take pics and e-mail them to you and maybe we can come up with something.
by the way I have seen the vest get poked through and have yet to have to stitch or staple any of those wounds.

How's it going Mike, happy holidays!!!!
Oh and that hog probably would have been mounted if it wasn't for a certain strike dog eating one of the ears off!
