The city of Winnfield and Bayed Solid Mag announced that the 16th annual Uncle Earls will be held in Winnfield the same as always, The dates are 23rd through the 27th of march 2011.
No matter what else happens if you dont go any where else this year try to attend Uncle Earls it is the tie that binds not only the bay pens but also the hog hunters togather . Thousands of people attend Earls each year from all over the world to fellowship and celebrate the tradition and heritage of a sport that has been with us for many generations . People from as far away as new zeland, Hawaii, canada attend earls. It is the place to trade and sell your puppies and dogs . Make new friendships that will last a lifetime and reafirm old friendships.

They will be taking entrys Feb 8th - 18th

Thanks you all for the encouragment. Everything is going to be fine our new location is a great facility and in all reality should prove to help our bayings grow even bigger which has got to be good for the sport and all of the local businesses and the sheriff dept along with ms dog hunters asso are behind us 100% . The Gulf coast seafood are donating shrimp for our next bay which will be sometime in june so dont miss it if you can. Once again thanks for all the support.

Great bay , had a good time saw a lot of old friends and made some new ones. It was good to see Spencer and John ashly also louis and judy smith heck even got to see old loyd ashly. The calibur of dogs was incredible some of the best baying ive seen in a long time and old Tupelo owned by eddie rabun put on one of the best bays i ever saw only to catch out with just seconds to go sorry Eddie that was tuff luck. It was good to see a real family atmosphere and good sportsmanship by all who participated. good job Brittney on handling Beans Gus and cherakee and taking 1st in 2 dog.

please if you are bringing a camper all we have left are self contained RV spots so bring a generator if you can turn out is already huge.

Thanks Blue we have tried really hard and I think it is beging to show we had 80 different people to enter dogs at our last trial and 90% were familys baying togather !! that is what we are proudest of. The live stream will be at least 90% old goats talking dogs and hog hunting and about years gone by we will discuss dif techniques and breeds of dogs and where the bayings began and the impact on hog hunting in general.

No offense taken on my part. and you all have some very valid reservations .That was the whole reason for throwing this out there to get every ones slant on it. I guess I should have explained it in better detail. first off who ever clicks on to watch will have to have a pre issued password in order to tune in.secondly it will be a 4 day live feed from the FBR featuring campfire talk and interveiws of competitors and hog hunters from all over the US along with the different vendors.thridly the only actual runs that will be brodcast will be runs of strong heathy boars with dogs that never make any contact with the hog .
Our whole goal is to show the world this is a family oriented event in which every member of the family can compete. For to long we have hid out in the dark. Also we are protected in our state legislation that as long as it is a deduction in a contestants score for over aggression our sport is legal under all state and local laws. I encourage all coments on this topic as long as they are presented in a inteligent and constructive manner. Once again I love this sport it has been my life for many years and would never do anything to cause it harm.

Boy's Obviously you dont know me very well or you would know I would never do anything to hurt the sport that I love and have helped to build over the last 20 years. I dont see where streaming the crowd and interviewing some of the contestants and spectators in a positive light and then selectively playing a few clean runs would do anything but help our sport to grow . If done the wright way it should be a great asset to our sport and show every body we are not the boogie man .as for anyone not wanting to be on or have there dog on that is not a problem no one will be broadcast with out signing a release. youtube is already full of hog baying video and some of it is inappropriate in my opinion . But in the final analisis we will do nothing that does not have the overwhelming support of all of the veiwers on all 6 of the forums that we have posted this notice on

We expect our normal crowd of 650 to 750 spectaters to over double. our whole community is a buzz with excitement at having the oppertunity to welcome all the bay doggers. Also dont for get our yearly hi point youth prize that is over 3000.00 to be payed out 100% and our 1500.00 in cash for hi point kennel at the end of the year. there are trophy buckles for hi point and NATIONAL BEST OF BEST At REUNION BAY. we have over 60 good strong hogs and some of the finest men and women from 6 diff states coming to Judge.

Just want to wish all those who are attending Joes Baying good luck and want to encourage every one in that area to try and get out and support the city of winnfeild. The response to our Reunion Bay Has Been Overwhelming and we are with out a doubt are going to have the largest crowd we ever had. It is a good feeling to see our sport beginning to grow again. Well the response to the Reunion Bay has been unbeliveable our motel has already booked over 40 rooms not counting all the RVs and campers coming. All of Georgia and Florida are coming this way and even Delbert Bishop from west Texas has made reservations. also Joe Hinds is having a bay 14 miles south of winnfield on the 27th for the winn parrish community. The most important thing is go some where and help keep our sport united, join in a unified front to support Uncle Earls and Bayed solid that they might return next year bigger than ever. Folks I cant stress enough how important Uncle Earls and the city of Winnfield is to the Bay Pen world and the sport of hog hunting in general, where else does a entire city state and local officals and most of the community and citizens stand behind what we do. also to continue Earls without bayed solid magazine would be like Sonny without Cher or Brooks without Dunn it just wouldnt be right. I personaly Know each person involved in this controversy and respect and consider each one of them my friend. My God its like a family being torn apart . the only resolution to this lies in prayer and a lot of it
