HOG & DOGS / GENERAL DISCUSSION / Re: Someone caught a big hog on Facebook

Wyatt Walton (WW-CC) and I are the two who caught him. He was a domestic hog (duroc) but he wasn't a pet as many are trying to say. He was raised in a bay pen his whole life, and released over 6 months ago about 5 miles down stream from where we caught. Having been raised in a bay pen, and left to roam along the Leon River for a half a year turned him into quite a feral hog. He was very mean, very strong, and very pissed off. I could go on, but I'm about worn out from having to explain this story to everyone. I will post a link of the newspaper article that goes into a little more detail. It makes me no difference whether people think he is a pet hog or not. Just want people to hear the right story as I'm sure there are multiple rumors going around. http://theflashtoday.com/2015/01/18/hunters-bag-tie-790-pound-boarzilla-hog/If you have any questions, feel free to ask

THE CLASSIFIEDS / THE DOG TRADE / Short range strike dog FS
on: November 05, 2014, 03:27:23 am
Not getting to hunt my dogs as much as I'd like, due to certain circumstances, so I'm gonna let go of a couple of dogs. 2 young dogs are already spoken for, but I just recently decided to sell my 3 year old RJ dog. RJ is a yella cur dog out of my first litter from Rebel. He's short ranged, rough, and will hammer the hell out of a hog. RJ has found a lot of hogs, over some really good dogs, but he has the tendency to be inconsistent. He also has less bottom than my older dogs, which is a reason I'm willing to part with him. Those are the only negatives I can think about him. Other than that, the dog has a good handle and is eager to please. He is better than a lot of people's best dog. He will hunt in front of a pickup, or strike from the box. He's been on a TON of hogs in his 3 years. He is the perfect dog to load up, and go catch easy pigs all day without having to worry about running one 5 miles. He'd fit in real good with a rough pack. I want 800$ for him. You bring me the cash, I'll let you hunt him until you're for sure you want him. If you don't like him, bring him back in the same condition he left and I'll give you your money back. I'm located in De Leon, Tx. and can be reached at 254-734-5344. email: blaineb4l@gmail.comI don't have any current pictures, but can send pics on Friday. Thanks, and please no tire kickers.

THE CLASSIFIEDS / CLASSIFIED ADS / 1990 Geo 4x4: Hunting Rig 1500$
on: September 02, 2014, 12:56:06 am
I posted this a while back and didn't have anyone interested, so I've decided to lower the price way down. It's basically wasting away in the back pasture. 1990 fuel injected, 4x4 Chevy Geo Tracker. Auto transmission. Heater works, no power steering. Replaced engine with a low-mileage engine about 15,000 miles ago and has ran good ever since. Transmission needs flushed (runs good after using a little LUCAS), and needs new starter. Since I bought this rig I have installed a 2 inch lift, replaced the exhaust, and exhaust manifold, replaced the battery, replaced the brakes, cleaned the hell out of the fuel injection system, installed a sony stereo, and replaced the alternator. I hunt hard out of this rig here around the house and it has ran good, until the starter went out during a tournament months ago. It's been sitting next to my kennels since then, as I've been to busy to mess with it. I have close to 8,000$ in it, and know I will never get 3/4 that back. I'm asking 1500$ AS IS. The dog box alone is worth 500$ of that. The tires are brand new 31x10.5r15 Mickey Thompson M/T's worth about 500$ as well. I can be reached at 254-734-5344. Email is blainetgarcia@gmail.com and I am located in De Leon/ Stepehenville, Tx.

THE CLASSIFIEDS / THE DOG TRADE / Year old gyp FS
on: August 14, 2014, 02:49:28 am
Planned on keeping this gyp out of my last litter, but I'm gonna try and make room for a bulldog. I normally don't keep gyps, but I've liked her from the start. She's out of my old cur dog crossed on a catahoula x bluetick female. She has a lot of go. She's never seen a pig in the woods, but will bay. Asking 250$ and will give money back if she doesn't work. Located in De Leon, Tx. I can send pictures. Blaine Garcia 254-734-5344 blainetgarcia@gmail.com

I payed 300 for the collar and would like to get 280$ of that back or I will just hang on to it. I'm located in De Leon, Tx and will ship. Thanks, Blaine Garcia 2547345344 blaineb4l@gmail.com

HOG & DOGS / DOGS ON HOGS / Number 86 in '14

Loaded the dogs around 10 Sunday night with the little brother and went southwest of town to a good creek bottom. About 1/2 a mile in the dogs take a track down the creek and hammer down right in the middle of an open pasture. We get a solid bay going and I drive right up on them and watch the show with my spotlight. He kept trying to break so i headed in with the 44. They got a little frisky as I was walking up to shoot him and Bandit grabbed a hold just long enough for me to leg him. He went 205 on the scales and paid for about 4 bags of dog food.

1990 fuel injected, 4x4 Chevy Geo Tracker. Auto transmission. Heater works, no power steering. Replaced engine last year with a low-mileage engine and has ran good ever since. Transmission needs flushed, and needs new starter. Since I bought this vehicle 2 years ago I have installed a 2 inch lift, replaced the exhaust, and exhaust manifold, replaced the battery, replaced the brakes, cleaned the hell out of the fuel injection system, installed a sony stereo, and replaced the alternator. I hunt hard out of this rig here around the house and it has never given me any problems until the starter went out last weekend. I have close to 8,000$ in it, and know I will never get that back, but I've decided to sell it and start my next project. I'm looking to get 4250$ without the dog box and tires, or 5500$ with the dog box and tires. The tires are brand new 31x10.5r15 Mickey Thompson M/T's. I can be reached at 254-734-5344. Email is blainetgarcia@gmail.com and I am located in De Leon/ Stepehenville, Tx. Also should have the starter replaced next week so you can test drive it
