Her dam is Hired Hands Lucy II , she is on Mr.Wagers yard being crossed to his stock .. Our 20+ years of Line breeding off Uncle Jim's Bear x Synder's Pennie cross' good with almost anything .. comes with UKC & NALC papers .. This is a repeat breeding of the pups you see above .. Gona be a bunch of nice CD's in this litter ..
Major is a well mannered , no agg., hard mouth dog with good stamina .. He is not the best . I've seen better catch , but as an all around dog you can't beat him .. Great handle , ride free in truck , lead in catch with out the lead .. Not a the style dog for everyone but has pulled his load on my yard ..
These pups will make great dogs for anything in the right hands , IMO .

A Cody L from Hathaway came run across the bayou from me a couple Saturday's back. My buddies cousin or uncles farm. Think they caught one. Hit me up when you head west, might have to swing by and visit a minute. Been goin w Big Bobby, but I must be bad luck, keep getting outrun.

Went out with Ferrel , HogBit , Colby & Jason .. Got off to a rough start , caught a blow out on the way out .. By the time we got there , the sun gods was shining bright and the hounds where ready ! We split up into two groups and headed in .. HogBit , Colby & I set off for the east end of some big property & the rest went to the west .. We put Striker & Jake down and rode slow , Jake struck to the north of us and Striker was there in no time .. The race was on and Striker took the lead in no time .. They headed south through some rice ponds and the race was on .. After a 3 mile race the hog slipped them in a pond and headed to a bean field .. For those who never hunted in a rice fields much , it's hell on a dog to keep a straight and honest track in this stuff .. Not making excuses , but it's crazy .. We picked them up and I told the guys about what I learned with Mr.Joey G & Cody L. A few nights before in some rice ponds .. At this time the clouds covered the sky and a mist was coming down .. We sent Striker in on a track as Jake worked the levee .. Striker was working hard but just couldn't line it out .. I was watching the top the rice and saw some moving , but it didn't look like it was enough to be anything .. We decided to move on .. As we did I seen some ears pop up and shag butt !!! It ran out on a levee right in front the dogs and the race was on again , but it would be in our favor this time .. It didn't take Striker & Jake long to shut it down , at 100yd they showed bayed .. We sent in Sista "on her first" .. She got to the bay as HogBit was vesting up Jackie for a back up .. The bay broke and Jackie was sent in but it only went 50yds before Sista made the catch and Jackie supervised .. Lil Landon was pumped up as we ran to the by , only asking us to slow down every 10 yds .. Lol he's hooked !! We get to the bay and HogBit makes the knife as Colby & I get Jake & Striker to head out .. We headed back to the group and after another long chase , I called it a day and headed in .. We'll find out tonight if they got on any more .. Colby & he's son Landon with the 180lb boar Sista on her first  Landon , on the ride home  Another great hunt with some good ole boys !! |

Only stating my opinions & a way i've learn to raise CD's to fit my style of hunting.. i'm about 4 yr. deep in this program .. got only 2 gen. of proven working stock but it's only getting better .. started these two litter mates at 16weeks old , Hooch was sold to Cody L. in south La. on trial and Turner is my took his sire's place at CD .. Not the best CD's in the word , and i do start them young on hogs they can handle until i see they are ready to send to the bay .. Most people say it's a waste of time , when you can buy a $50.00 bulldog at 1-2yrs. old and catch hogs .. But the dogs i train don't drag you around the woods and are very well mannered .. I through Major , Hooche or Turner on the bike and don't have to snap or mind .. most spend all there free time training their strike and bay dogs , that they forget that the CD can be trained too .. most of the time catch on the nose , lately they been catching on the ear .. i have seen Turner catch on the front leg , dew to the fact that the ears & nose where taking by the currs ..I broke him off and placed him on the ear a few time before tieing him up .. Just to leave on a positive note lol .. Now Hooch , i've seen him regrip on a shoalt .. First time in the woods i sent him behind a seasoned CD on the first bay , then sent him alone to the second one .. Both were 100lb sows and he caught the ear and held ..
