My youngest daughter who is 25 had a lump in her neck and the doc examined her and told her it could be cancer and to get a biopsy. My heart sank, the first thing I did was ask God to take the lump away, my mom started a prayer chain and she went back to get the biopsy two week later and nothing was there. I thank God and all those who lifted my daughters health to the Lord. I don't think you have to publicly say, " I will pray" most of the time that is to help comfort those who are asking for the prayer request, but to actually say a prayer for is between you and God.
Amen...100%

i have a 3 legged red cur dog about 5 yrs old that lost his back leg and he will hunt his butt off, slowed him down on his speed but not on how far he hunts out or how long he travels to stay with a hog.... 3 legged dogs make great puppy trainers since they dont just run off and leave em behind!!!

I do not like a dog that quits the track. My goal is to have dogs that stop the hog asap but not give up easily even if the hog gets in the middle of a thick and large briar patch...and if the hog is a runner in the thick stuff I want the dogs to trail him as long as needed to bring it to a bay. These type of dogs will worry us due to where the track leads them but I would rather worry about where the dogs are headed than to know that the dogs will give up after a mile... In my book those dogs are culls...How many times will these dogs start a track just to give up, and then start over on a new track???
If I were to run those type of dogs they would have to be rough enough to stop a hog no matter what...
u hit the nail right on the head 100% in my opinion, y go hunting and just make hogs that already run bad just want to keep on running further and further to get away if he knows that ur dog is going to quite him after a mile or so every time, i want that sucker out of the woods no matter where he ends up and i know that it does not happen all the time. Rough or not a running hog in really thick brush can and will most of the time out run a dog and stop when he wants to.

HOG & DOGS / GENERAL DISCUSSION / Re: Religion...

To me religion has just turned into something else for people to argue about. My whole life depends on faith...but I've always wondered how Jesus would feel about these big lavish churches that cost more than most will make there entire life. I feel that if you believe Jesus died and rose for our sins and "that who so ever believes in him shall not parish and will have everlasting life" then you are my brother. I believe Jesus said it best " you are either with me or you are against me" (Luke 11:23). That's just how I feel.
i totally agree with u Jared H 110 % and the only one that is 100% perfect is Jesus Christ and we are all sinners that come short of the glory of God and we need to repent of our sins!!! God created every thing and will end every thing in his perfect timing
