River is a registered Catahoula.  I want to say he's around 5, but I don't have the papers in front of me at the moment.  He's an excellent woods dog on his good days and a solid help dog on his worst.  There have been days where I wouldn't have sold him for $1000, and others where I wanted to cull him.  He can get nasty, but he's not suicidal.  He is pretty descent in a bay pen.  He's out of Camp A While and Aden's blood.  

The other is a brindle female hound/cur/pit around 1.5 years old.  She still needs a lot of hog exposure, but she will absolutely burn the woods up.  She has only been to the woods a handful of times, but has impressed me every time.

It's criminal how little time I have for hunting nowadays, and I can't just let these dogs go to waste.  I'm not looking to make a bunch of money off of these dogs, I just want them going to good hunting homes.  If you can prove that your dogs are well cared for I'll sell them as a pair for $400.  If you want a trial we can work something out.  earlisbubba2@gmail.com 903-245-5679  Texting is best due to poor signal at home.  Tyler, TX area.

I have a couple of cur pups just over a year old that have been doing real well in the woods.  I decided last week to start hunting them separate so one wont become dependent on the other.  I turned loose 2 dogs about an hour before daylight and the pup struck almost right away.  At 10 til 10, at least 2 miles from where he jumped it, the pup bayed up solid.  Sent in the grown dog who had dropped out of the race long before the bay and heard grunting.  Got closer and sent my ol catchdog for good measure.  It turned out to be a sow, but she managed to poke my pup a few times.  I had my ten year old bro in law with me (his 1st time) and I'm pretty sure he's ruined for life.

JB, 3 year old Plott Hound, hunts out 200-400 yards until he strikes.  Lots of bottom and will stop a runner.  Will open some on a hot track, but runs a track fast.  Will catch anything under 150 lbs.  He's a big hound weighing around 65 lbs.

I've hunted with this dog and even took him to a baying in Tyler.  He hates hogs!

He's asking $700.

I bought a motion detector security light from Lowes that runs off of 4 "C" batteries. Slapped some red filter over the lenses and mounted it about 12 feet above my feeder.  Works pretty dang good and I only have about $35 in it.

I have a QuicktracK QTR-10.  I have three collars that are 217.007, 217.023, and 217.077.  Sometimes I can get a particular collar in all directions when I'm tracking doesn't matter if they are miles away or pretty close.  The other day I had a dog leave the country on a runner and even though I could only pick the collar up on long range, I still picked it up in every direction.  Is it my receiver or my collars?  The collars are three different brands.  Maybe it's the operator?

Btw, I had the same problem even after I caught my other two dogs and turned their collars off.

If anyone interpreted my ramblings as supporting the legalization of drugs then I failed to communicate clearly. 

So thousands of people die every year as a result of the drug trade coming out of Mexico. (estimated at more than 60,000 since late 2006) Innocent people who are used to send messages, Border Patrol agents who get in the way, one group of thugs killing off competitors, etc. It's not all that rare to hear about mass graves found near our southern borders nowadays.
Meanwhile- Our federal government has completely failed at securing our borders and seems to not recognize the legitimate threat posed by SOME of our neighbors to the south. (I have often wondered why we're mixed up in so much overseas drama when we have full blown terrorist organizations operating in Mexico and coming and going from the U.S. with relative ease.)
I've heard some of my more liberal acquaintances say that if certain drugs were legalized here it would eliminate a lot of the violence due to ending the criminal “market”. I find it humorous that those same people support banning certain firearms......Create a new “market” anyone?

He catches good.  Ear or back of head.  The female is on loan from my buddy, but he's let her catch a couple of times.  She's supposed to have a real hard mouth and a hatred for hogs. 

She's an american bulldog, should cross nicely with my cane corso.  Just waiting on her to come in.

Careful, those pups will be in the dog trade within days as purebred catahoulas!
