i like some dogs to be catchy but i always cary a straight bay dog to the woods bc if you get on a hog an every dog is caught then its hard to find the hog an it normally gets pretty chewed up but if you got a good bay dog there its alot easier to locate the the dogs an hog!

hey trey my dads old friend said you can take a ball of pine sap an give her once a month an it will keep a dog from comin in but idk never tried it but thats what this old man told us an it wasnt dukey duke lol

 i got a 8mo. old cur pup an i was feedin last night an he had blood all over his sides an on the dog house then i noticed the tip of his tail was bleeding any ideas on what i should do about this?

my cusin had a dog that got his tendon cut in the back leg an never took him to the vet an it heeled up but the bottom part of his leg just flopped unless he was on a hog an he would use the top part of his leg at the joint like a foot but it would get really raw in rough terrain!

well like they said before it depends on the situation if i can here my dogs an its a running hog ill let my dog go to stop the hog before it ends up on somebody elses property! but with a young dog i try to get close an make sure he goes to the bay! JMO

i use a half pit half  dogo an he has plenty of heart an aint nearlly as aggressive towards other dogs like some pits my frinds use an if he can hear the dogs he will go to em an has plenty of body to hold him!

i agree for the most pert put the shock collar on her an when she barks without cause light her up but use a vocal command before you give her the juice!!!!!!!

Last friday, my buddies and I decided to go check some spots to hunt an we figured we would take the dogs along for the ride. It was about 4 in the afternoon and it was hot so we didnt plan on catchin any hogs an we didnt even let the dogs out until we saw some fresh sign on the side of the road. We couldn't believe that one dog ran about 50 yards to a creek and started bayin then 2 other dogs got there and the hog broke and cut back to the road. So we took off and the dogs caught it about ten ft on the other side of the road in a thicket and the hog started squilin so we thought it was a sow then i got too em and one dog had a hole in his jaw and the hog had teeth hangin outta his mouth but we got it caught and tied and realized it was a barr. So we headed to the scales and it weighed 276lbs hoghunting07 is tryin to post the pics now!!!!

 man i would have to say a pelican they are almost indistructable an with new batteries will last several nights an as said before they are waterproof! an they come in head lights an hand helds in several different sizes!
