i'm going to agree with mike . in south tx i have yet to see a hog stop. not because the dogs are bad it the hogs will not hold . reason is hounds are to open on track.

my father farms around 15,000 acres of milo, corn , and rice combined. we kill more hogs every year trying to control them and it's like we never killed one the year before.

i'm going to lean you towards anderson bean . the reason is im hard on boots i do alot of rodeo'n and hunting an never wear rubber boots when needed . i get around a year and a half out of them.

i'v been breeding ybc for 23 years and seen timid dogs never come out of it. but some of my best dogs have been timid . i would ask your self is the dog worth giving a try.
