We we asked for it and we got it!
Growth for our sport!
The new year will start with the Fort Bayou Bay.
In February we will have the big money at the Lazy T arena.
And then last but not least - Uncle Earl's.
This is really great, usually there isn't much going on after the 1st of the year, but this year, lots of tune up opportunities!

IF it's in his mouth, leave it alone. Just give some oral antibiotics or give a shot, just in case.

I would be more worried about that foot.

We have 5 female pups for sale, all are blue leopard. These pups come from good working stock. The type to do it all, tree, hogs or cows. These are from the old working bloodlines of the Catahoula Lake area in central Louisiana. The dam is a Tuska Homma bred female/ the sire is a Banik (River Bottom) bred male, but his roots are solid Louisiana as well.

I finally got the nerve to sit down and tell the news. My heart wasn't in it.
Last Wednesday morning, we lost old Cadllac. His heart that made him so special, was what took him from us.
The next day I found out that Poker, has a fast working cancer and it is just a matter of time.
For those of you that has a special dog, don't forget to thank god for your gift and appreciate them while they are here.

I think the host did a great job! Joe Hines is an old timer, but his judging is still fair, honest and consistant. James for a newby did a wonderful job hosting such an event. For something put together in a hurry it sure didn't seem like it.
And can you believe 29 youth bay entries! With such competition! Uncle Earl's may have been a disappointment to some, but I sure did see a lot of happy, enthusiastic young people leave Sunday afternoon. Makes you appreciate what we are in the sport for.
Lot's of fun - no )*((*&)(ing.
I've never seen Bill Griffin smile as much, i even heard he is thinking about getting him some bay dogs. LOL
Can't wait till next time....
See ya'll next time. Renee'

GENERAL CATEGORY / BAY PENS / Re: BAYING IN WINN PARISH MARCH 27 & 28
|
on: March 16, 2010, 07:27:23 pm

Youth Bay questions. Dog must be owned by family, couple, kennel. The dog can be run in other events other than youth bay, but if it is, the youth that is running the dog inthe youth bay must handle the dog.
On youth bay payback - 100% on entry fees, and calcutta. This is for the future of our sport.
Hope this helps.

Hey all! I'm new to forum, but wanted everyone to know the scoup on the Baying going on the weekend that was supposed to be Uncle Earl's.
The event is being hosted by Double H Bay Pen, or Joe Hines and James Haymon. Joe has been a long time bayer and hog hunter, he actually had a bay pen at his place about 12-13 years ago. He has attended or participated and some years judged at Uncle Earl's since it began.
Several supporters of our sport are joining together to support Winn Parish and the City of Winnfield. For years they have welcomed us, and we all know we weren't always angels, but each year they said "come on back!".
Also, we all know that we can't let the Bunny Huggers think they ever have the edge. Uncle Earl's has always been our primier event. Without that anchor, there could really be some problems if they think they can get the upper hand.
We would love for any and all that want to attend to come and help up support some of our greatest fans -the city of Winnfied and Winn Parish.
