Does anyone on here run catahoula bulldogs? From the research i have done i would like to give them a shot. Does that catahoula in them really show when it comes to sniffin out a pig and when they get to the pig are they good at stopping them>? I know each dog no matter the breed will be different but as a whole i would like to hear peoples experiences with them.

Good looking set of curtain climbers you got there, Looks like they had a great time! ITs always good to see kids outside in stead of sitting inside playing video games!!

Actually don't know anyone that does it. Here where i live in al people hog hunt but not with dogs bama outlawed it i think. but i am moving to ga in the near future for my job but i am not sure how many hogs i can come across in north ga. do you know by chance i know there alot in south ga. But i will have to take your advice on that free wormy dog i do have one hell of a catahoula already that has a great since of game and prey drive and seems to have alot of grit but don't know if its enough. and i don't figure they would make very good catch dogs. I did have a american bulldog pit mix till recently some one had to have stole him but you know how that goes.

Hello everyone, I am new to the forum and to the idea of hog doggin. I am looking for any tips anyone may have. I have been doin alot of research on breeds of dogs laws and regulations regarding hog doggin. I have found the sort of dogs i think i am interested in unless anyone has any input I am looking at the possibility of getting 3 catahoula bulldogs and 1 american bandogge. I plan on maybe trying to get started training in maybe the next year and in the meantime need all the info possible. Thanks in advance for your responses.
