I know how you feel.  I got screwed a couple times myself.  I live in south east oklahoma and have a half blackmouth half catahoula male that would be a good dog for you.  The ONLY reason im letting him go is because he is rough, to rough he is teaching my other bay dogs to catch.  He will stop a running pig though.  I also have a puppy out of him that is 11 months old.  I would let them go to you for a hundred bucks.  He will get out and hunt and you need to put at least a cut collar on him because he doesnt mess around.  He will hunt for around thirty minutes and circle around and let you know he is still around.  Good starter dog.  Let me know what you think.
