Monty I havent seen it around here either, but when Riley and I hunted down by Brady we caught 2 barrs w/o ears that were close to 200 lbs if I remember, also caught a 10 lb piglet that had both his ears halfway cut off and nuts cut.  The land owner said he does that but never said why.  i dont get it either.  Leave something on their ear to catch atleast.  Notch them how you want if you are just wanting to come across the pig again, but there should be something atleast half if you ask me...

Thank you all for the words...  Rock, I'm kind of lost in that area honestly.  he was fine when he went out and came back couldn't hardly breathe and had some swelling on his head, abdominal area, and hip and also his gums were a light purple color.  Hit by a car?  IDK...  He wasnt busted up or anything so I'm not sure.  Poisoned by some douche bag neighbor?  Maybe...  Hell I dont know, just know I'm gonna miss having him around.  MrsLouisiana,  he may have very well been the prettiest dog we have ever owned.  He was definetely a looker. 

Well yesterday was not a good day at the Herron household. We lost our beloved friend and family member Shiner. Not sure exactly what happened he went outside for 30 mins or so and came back struggling to breathe. The wife called to tell me about 5 PM and after I got home we stayed with him until his last breathe around 6:15. He was a great family dog and I always wanted to use him as a CD but never did. Very good natured, protective, loving, and loyal. He was only 2 years old but the time we had him we loved every minute of it. Very hard on my wife because he was her shadow... Just a tough pill to swallow. RIP Shiner, love you and will miss you every day.

Yes Charles it is adjustable, cant remember temps off the top of my head but anywhere from like 125-225 or so I believe....  Jerry... yes I plan on marinating tonight, all day tomorrow, and tomorrow night then putting it on Saturday morning so I can be home. 

Had a question for you fellas and need advice actually....  Making some deer jerky for the first time and was wondering how long yall dehydrate it and at what temp?  Im going to slice it 1/8''-1/4'' thick and use an electric dehydrater my in laws got me for Christmas.  Thank you!

Oh I agree Justin, but like Mason said, its the first weekend in March every year the past 9 years....  So if the other tourney cant think about that and feels they must have it the same weekend, and I had to choose then Im saying I'd pick TDHA.   I think that they def. should pick up the phone and make sure to not have 2 big tourneys at the same time.
