Just talked to the doctor. Tiny is out of surgery. Everything went better than expected and she will be back to her self in a couple of days.
Thank you for keeping her in your prayers.
Maurice.

I thought about deleting this thread last night, but I wanted everyone that may have contacted Tony, to see just how "professional" he really is. I'll leave it up a while for everyone to see, just know that Tony can't respond....
Thanks Chris for bringing this all to an end. I was getting quite aggravated with how my wife was being replied to last night. I always back her up 100% and wont let anyone respond to her like that. On the other hand she is also tough enough to take care of herself so I just sat back and let her defend herself ready to jump in at a moments notice if I needed too.

HOG & DOGS / GENERAL DISCUSSION / Re: Story time... Commercial Spearfishing Trip Gone "Bad"...

... As soon as I heard him kick it in gear I knew what would happen... I felt my hose come immediately tight, and took one more big breath....... .......... as the hose wrapped around the propeller... cutting off my only air supply at 70'(compressed air mind you)... Not good. ... Now when you dive compressed air at depth, your body absorbs nitrogen gas into your bloodstream... not dangerous at depth, but if you come up too quickly(like if you ran out of air lol)... the bubbles come out of solution, rupture blood vessels internally.... sometimes resulting in death... ... again, was a long, painful rise to the surface... beginning to see a patern at this point... climbed aboard the boat for a "discussion" about moving with divers down.... before re-entering the water to try and salvage the hoses from the prop... . My first question would be... why are you down 70ft on a vessel air with no bail out bottle.

Everyone needs to help me convince her to do this. When one of the best horse chiropractors in the entire country want you to be their apprentice you can't turn them down. Means being on the road for weeks or months at a time hitting every horse show from California, Texas, to New York and everywhere in between. Learn from him for several years and be able to take over most of his established clients.
She is scared how this will affect everyone else instead of doing for herself for a change.
I love you Babe.

HOG & DOGS / GENERAL DISCUSSION / Re: Drilling Rig!

In my opinion the best way to work with oil rigs is through one of the service companies. They are a little harder to get on with but once your foot is in the door you advance through the pay scale alot faster. Haliburton, Schlumberger, FMC, Cameron etc. They dont advertise much, so you would have to just keep bugging them until they put you on the payroll. I have been working ROV's for the last 12 years. I am pretty much a lifer at it now. But with the gulf slowing down I have spent the last 7 months in Nigeria. Currently I am right in the middle of a 6 week hitch on the Saipem 3000. Been here 3 days for every day I have been home. Makes it hard on Meagan but we do what we have to to get by. Keep in mind that if you plan to go over seas some of the hitches can be quite long.
Keep your head up and keep bugging all the companies. Eventually one of them will take you on.

I shoot a bowtech myself.
Dexter is right. Go to a bow shop and get fitted to a bow. Draw length will be different for the both of you. If your bow is not set up properly for the specific person it will never shoot accurately. Any of the mid price range bows are accurate enough to hunt with. Expect to spend 5-6 hundred for each of them by the time you walk out the door. Release, arrows, sights and rest all add up quickly.
