sounds like one of my pits i had got poisoned turned out someone threw rat posion in my backyard over the fence, she acted depressed the day before and i kept trying to get her to get up and eat and drink and shed just lay with her head in the food bowl next morning came out was stiff as a board. later that day was cleaning out her dog run hoping other dogs wouldnt get sick and found peices of the rat posion, she dehydrated to death it suxed
7  HOG & DOGS / GENERAL DISCUSSION / nd3 on: April 03, 2011, 10:52:25 pm
has anyone used a nd3 and had any luck with them? I got about a month ago and took it out and after about 20-30 min not continous use but clicking it on ti look and and off probly 10-15 times maybe a minute at a time it dimmed out like it was too cold it was 60° could blow on it and would get a lil brighter but its rated to 32° took it back to gun store he sent it back to nd3 and they sent me another one supposedly. ... I took it out that night same thing this time i was pissed had 30 hogs in a field and it dimmed out and could barely make out eyes in the feild.  Took it back next day and am trying to decide if they all act this way or if i just got a bad one

im running a german short haired pointer shes super fast and gritty as can be shes got one hell of a nose on her and she bays for a min then goes straight to catching i would cross her with a pit if anyone is interested
17  HOG & DOGS / HOG DOGS / hi there new to the site on: January 23, 2011, 10:02:18 pm
basically just started hog doggin had got a german short haired pointer and took her out dove hunting, well she didnt find any dove but she took off following the hawg trail end up hearing her baying a nice lil 100lb boar it took a couple steps toward her when we walked up and i guess cuz i was there she was protecting me but she grabbed a hold that ear and just went to town and held that pig was able to get her off and took home a nice hog, so i decided if she wanted to hunt hogs i would take her i have since picked up a nice catch dog who has proven her self already on some lil pigs for me but i did get her from someone who already hunted her,   i'd really like to go run with some guys or gals around here i live in cleburne but i will travel a lil to make some new friend catch some hogs have a good time can bring my dogs or not doesnt matter much to me just want to hang with some experienced hog doggers im availible most nights
