Well boys the yeller punch has finally got in my system. Nothin but yeller dogs allowed on my yard. I fought the fever as long as I could but the water has started to boil out the colored dogs. Even bought my wife some yeller hair dye. The wife is not allowed in any huntin photos unless her hair is dyed yeller. Thank you YBM for all the mentoring. I even got the Yeller Forever tatoo on my right arm. All posts of yeller dogs are welcome at any time. The last step is for me to be sworn in by the yeller group members and I'm in.

I used to hunt behind a yeller catch dog until one day he backed up and bayed and everything started getting wrecked. I hope yours doesnt have reverse With a good vest this dog is tough. His running partner is the bulldog. I like a catching curr as long as there is a catching bulldog with him. There is more to the story on the nice looking shirt. See I took my best dog on the hunt and I knew we'd be taking pictures with a hog. Those youngsters had tried this hog twice in the last two weeks but did not have any luck. I dressed for the occasion. LOL By the way, Im looking for a new hunting partner. I'll get all of the hunting spots, provide all the tracking collars, dog vests, and pay for all the diesel, all he has to do is show up on time, not trash talk about my dogs, and keep his comments about my hunting get up to himself. The position is ready to be filled now.

Just keep huntin him. Either by hisself or with deer broke dogs. I've seen the batteries run down on shock collars trying to break dogs and it never work. If you start them in the training collars then you will always have to put them on the same dogs. #1 rule: do not hunt your dogs with proven deer dogs. Its better to leave them in the dog box than to pick up bad habits.

those are the best ones. Black body curs... WAY better than black mouth curs
Explain. Dude, the straight yellow dog lines will only produce yellow pups. Certain yeller lines will produce an occassional black and tan pup, about 1 in 200 pups. Same thing with a straight red cur dog line. If the line has been crossed with brindles or blacks, then there is no telling what color you will get. Random gene selection. "No blacks in the straight yeller dogs."

Finally a post with some good taste!! I love it when someone eats crow ahaha So what's the real story on those little black beauties The real story is this. The mother is a pitt bull female, line of pitts we've had for about 15 years, and the daddy is a yeller black mouth dog that we call Smokey. All pups came out black like those pictured or brown with the white markings. I'm hoping to keep some for catch dogs. YBM don't know it but I'm raising one for him. He'll like them so much when they grow up that he'll be beggin for one. I'll post a photo of the grandpa on the female's side to show how much the pups resemble him. The mother to these pups is spotted, and she looks nothing like the pups. The old dog is on the right. The other is a son of him.

I've been re-reading the manual and I realize I skipped some steps. 1) only feed the Old Yeller Brand dog food the full length of the gestation period and 2) make sure the gyp hears the Yellow Rose of Texas song at least once a week.
Does this mean that my yearly membership dues go up in price?

Yeller Dog Breeders Beware, You had better build tops on your dog pens. Those dang crows will fly in when you ain't looking and violate your female dogs. I don't know how this happened. I followed the instructions in the manual issued by the Straight Yeller Club. I've been feeding the yeller dog breeder pellets and I've put the lemonade in their drinking water. YBM I need help. Is there any kind of a pill I can give these pups to reverse the color, or any solution I can dip them into? Mike, did you or Tshelly spray something on my dog feed during the Blake Granberry competition?

Man we bayed alot of hogs. Had a great time. Most of the young dogs got their time in the action. Great Hunt. We had a streak of sure nuff bad luck with Strikedogs main dog getting injured right off the bat by falling into a 30 ft hole and requiring about 15 staples in the stomach.
I see you posted the pictures of the evil dogs. I think I saw those dang yeller blacks gang up on Smokey and push him in that hole. We can't even work together without some sabotage going on. Your typical yeller dogs.

Good job guys. This has inspired me to name our team in the Blake Grandbury Memorial hunt the "All Dogs of Color" Team. YBM will love this.
Great hunt.
