Considering the perennial nature of bamboo, the use of herbicide will often be needed to hasten and improve control. However, there are currently no herbicide labels that list bamboo as a controlled species. But there are herbicides that are relatively effective on this weed. Both glyphosate (Roundup and others) and imazapyr (Arsenal and others), used at high rates, will control bamboo.
Research has shown that for herbicides to be effective, the bamboo should be mowed or chopped and allowed to regrow to a height of approximately 3 feet, or until the leaves expand. Glyphosate at a 5% solution or imazapyr as a 1% solution can then be applied directly to the leaves.

Many of the older guys that i know who use to free range hogs had only one or two cur dogs that had an unbelievable handle would catch and release hogs on command. They managed those hogs back then, would ear mark all their pigs, dock tails and castrate most of the boars, leaving a few for stud boars. Every family had a distinct ear mark that was recorded at the county or parish courthouse. I believe parts winn and Lasalle parishes in LA still had open stock laws until around 2009. I think if you search some of the past threads there are some pics posted of some hog drives.

There are several good herbicides labeled for aquatic use and safe for fish. First you need to correctly identify your weed, then test your alkalinity and choose the best herbicide for the job. Or you could manually remove it lol. PM if you have any questions.

They are cloning cattle, horses and hogs. They have several clones fro a famous club calf bull named heatwave and a boat called super monster. Bout 20k for the first one and 10k for additional clones.

Here is an excellent publication on herbicide carryover. Lots of folks use manure from there livestock, that have been grazing on forages treated by herbicides, to fertilize their gardens.The chemical residue from 2-4D based products and many other herbicides can damage or kill your plants. I picked up a copy. As a dog hunter i found no value to the contents. It was definitely targeting the gun hunters. I wish the original bayed solid magazine would come back.

Akc ukc registered black lab pups. Both parents are proven hunting and field trial dogs ...pups started retrieving at 37 days old. They will be 8 weeks old this Friday oct 18. $600 a piece.
