 Couple of late season aoudads killed by my eight-year old nephew. 75 and 90 yards both thru neck....pretty proud of the little guy. Killed in Gonzales County in a low fence! The assumption is they got out of a high fence somewhere and have been completely shutting down their deer hunting beating the deer to the feeder every morning. Successful morning to say the least not to mention a solid Christmas present! |

7.62x.39 found in many AK's and ranch rifles. (Ruger Mini 30). Very inexpensive ammo yet very reliable and plenty of knockdown and we always shoot Silver Bear soft or hollow points at bays to avoid blowing thru

Still have pups. 3 blue/brindle males, 1 blue/brindle female, 4 yellow females, 1 black/brindle male. Out of solid working stock. Started them on a 100 pound sow on Monday and they all barked. 10 pups- 6 females, 4 males. Out of my help dog gyp and my brothers lead strike dog. He is medium range, open when hog is Running (not on track before strike). Will catch 130 and under.  Free 6 yr. old redbone male strike dog. Reason for letting him go is he's not fast enough anymore to hang with the cats/curs. Will honor bay everytime. 1. Deuce 2 yr. old pit male lead in CD. Catches the first part of the body he hits, usually on the head. Weighs roughly 60 lbs and has all his teeth. Knows what a bay is and leads very well. He is nutered but he is still in good shape and shows no human or dog aggression. very good handle and loads up. $150  2. Chico 2 1/2 yr. old 3/4 pit 1/4 cur lead in or RCD. Has struck a few before but is primarily straight catch. Picture doesn't do him justice he is a tall athletic dog and weighs around 60 lbs. Catches head and also leads very well. Was our top catch dog over the past year and did his job very well Catching around 40 hogs this winter. 6 yr old finished Redbone male strike dog. He is short to medium range and open AFTER the hog breaks. He will run with lead strike dogs and will almost never be at your feet. Has found several hogs for me just doesn't have the speed I need. We hunt with all cats and he can't out strike my brothers medium-long range strike dogs. We hunt a lot of river bottom territory and that's not the terrain this dog fits in as the hogs arent reluctant to run and keep running. With this you run into the issue with most hounds....SPEED. He's fairly gritty, will catch hogs 130 pounds and under and will catch with other dogs. Absolutely no dog or human aggression and excellent handle. This dog has a lot of hunt left In him.
