A buddy of mine has a greyhound gyp that i may get from him to use on hogs, but never messed with them so dont know if you start them like any other dog or what. And how do  you hunt them. Do you let them run with them bay dogs or what. Just trying to get a little input before i get her. Thanks

Where can you get a German shorthair  at without paying a arm and a leg for them?

Just wondering what yall prefer to use when it comes to hunting with bird dogs for hogs? Do straight bird dogs  work good or do they work better being crossed with something?

I got a few dogs that i dont have time to work due to the heat and not having places to hunt that has hogs right now so thats why im getting rid of them. First is a 10 month old brindle cur he has seen a hog in the pen 1 time. Second is a saddleback male that is started and will go with older dogs.
