Thanks Nick! I dont get on here much anymore but I just happened to stumble across this! The pups rueben posted off of UKC should be good ones. I have a female out of the Rowdy dog first litter. Most of my dogs go back to Rocky Hill Redman which is Woodstock Grizzly bred.

I thought he had been bred more than that. I have seen some dogs that when they breed several females a switch flips and they want to figh every male around. Maybe he just had a bad day. I bet he settles down.

Cody is on fire! He has the srena record at 6.5 seconds and he would have broke it last night if his calf would've been on his feet when he got there.

There's a lot of hogs that way , also a lot of hog hunters , most of that country is rough and hunted horse back, also a lot of story's about stolen dogs or shot dogs , it's not to far from we're I live but I don't go there do to the story's , I'm not excited about going to prison LOL , I hunted there horse back once with a group with no problems , got hogs , runners for sure , the last story I heard was the same group went and spent two hours trying to gather there dogs from another group of hunters , it's not worth the grief to me , hope this helps ya out , we normally don't hunt this time of year , but I know safer places than that if the itch is that bad , the fish are really biting on a pole or on your hand if your in to noodling or fishing
He prolly not talking about cherokee county or cherokee wma. I bet he is talking about Cherokee Oklahoma. Its out in no mans land north west of enid.

Yea that was a bad deal. I have met larry a few times at hunts. He said that the guy that shot them was proud of himself. He admitted to them that the dogs werent doing anything but treeing. Then when the cops showed up he changed his story and said they were being aggressive.

All dogs registered with UKC arent automatically given the 'Pr' in front of their names. It just means that all the dogs in the three generation pedigree were registered with UKC. If there is a single registered dog in the three generation pedigree then they wont have a 'Pr' in front of theire names. I hope that makes sense. If it doesnt you can look it up on the UKC webpage.

What cut gear you runnin?
And yes, I sell my culls.
1. Registered Bluetick Gyp-1yr old Sold for $100 to coonhunter for breedingand papers. Hog broke her young. 2. Blue nose Pit- 1yr Old Sold for $100 To another hog hunter Who leads in. I expect mine to hunt as well not just a lead in. 3. Catahoula- 6 months old Sold for $200 to fellow Hog hunter. Would not do squat in bay pen, littermates love a hog made her look dumb. She was merle with Glass eyes.
Looks sold her. But i did clarify to buyer how she does in pen even gave her a test drive in my pen to prove it. Why? Let me guess you just shoot your culls? Why not try to make money off of them. If your honest about the dog before hand and buyer still wants then why should you deny??
Wow. Thats all I can say.

HOG & DOGS / GENERAL DISCUSSION / Re: Looking for Grey Brahman show heifer

If I may ask why a Brahman? I'd check out the breed website you should be able to find a list off breeders there if not there look in the back of an issue of the gulf cost cattleman or the cattleman mags and try those ranches that would give you a good start Why a Brahman? In my pasture, with the exception of a few novelty cows ( Watusi ), I have grey Brahman, and F1 Brafords. The heifer that she shows will end up in our pasture, and the HLSR does not have a class for F1 Braford in 2014, only leaving the Brahman as an option. I have spoken at length with Chris, the president of ABBA, and he has given me a few leads to check out. I just figured I would post up here and see what the ETHD knowledge base might have to offer in addition to my previous research. BTW, thanks for the PM's that I have received, I will follow up with the contacts that have been provided thus far. I think what you are calling a F1 braford is just a F1 tigerstripe. Brafords are a breed unto themselves much like brangus. Brafords are not half brahman and half hereford. They even have a registry for them. Help me out here.... It won't be the first time I have been wrong about something... You are correct, mine are 1/2 brahman 1/2 hereford aka F1 Braford aka F1 Tigerstripe Braford = a breed unto itself, I understand this to be ~ 3/8 brahman 5/8 hereford However, To my knowledge, the term F1 Braford and F1 tigerstripe have always been interchangeable, and used to reference a 1st generation cross of a brahman/hereford. I also use the term F1 Brangus to reference a brahman/angus cross. Here's a link that somewhat supports the use of the "F1 Braford" as an accepted term. http://www.cattlerange.com/B-Tigerstripe.htmlI gotcha... I guess the lingo just varies by location. Nice looking cattle by the way.
