William Marshall 205-616-6035, he has puppies on the ground now. Tell him Robert from Rusty Knife Kennel referred you. All his dogs are out of true imported Argentina Dogs. Has sons, and daughters that are direct descents of Morocho. I have a few of his dogs here at my house and they are truely exceptional.

That's the same way it is around here.... Bunch of Hollywood hunters who jack it up for the people that are serious about it. Except it sees the hogs aren't very plentiful. Where would you recommend that would be a good place to raise a family and find good hunting and good hunting property?

It's that time to get out of the Army and move to Texas!! Just curious where y'all think the best places to hog hunt are. I hear East Texas, I hear south Texas. Looking to settle down with the family and slooooow down. Looking for a good family community where I can have 10-20 acres with the dogs. I'm here down in South East, Ga and the hog hunting is disappointing to say the least. I have a friend up in Athens who makes Tyler surrounding areas the place to be. Just figured if reach out and get everyone else's thoughts.

@halfbreed- I maybe a pure idiot but when I pull it up on my phone it shows that site as an advertisement.
@charles- turd ID? Lol no way!! I'm no dirty leg! Haha im headed down to HAAF to the ranger battalion. You active duty?
I was. I was with 4ID and 1ID. They and I were aviation, chithook mechs/crewcheifs. I thought hunter was in savanna, and it was 3ID. wouldnt have thought they would have a ranger batt on an aviation airfield. Right on! Yeah there is a small little compound of a large battalion size eliment down there. I would literally shoot myself in the foot if I got stuck to 3rd ID

Active duty military so I'm going to be around the Ft Stewart/Hunter Army Air Field Area. Currently stationed here in Hawaii, I have my own kennel set up and have done fairly well. Getting ready to PCS and I'm trying very hard to maintain my dogs in the process of PCSing but I didn't know what the laws were and couldn't find any info at all. Is it difficult like everywhere else to get property access to hunt? How's the hog population in the state?

HOG & DOGS / HOG DOGS / Georgia hog dog regulations?

Out of curiosity, does anyone know of the regulations of running dogs on hogs in the state of Georgia? I'm moving there and I cant find any information except that it's prohibited on WMA unless otherwise posted. What about private lands? The state's website is rather less helpful and I know we have some GA residents on the forum here..... Any help anyone?
Thanks
Doc

Rhodesian Ridgeback is my favorite. There are many lines that hold different traits but the original lines that are from Africa are bred for straight working. Incredible temperaments, cover lots of ground, and know how to use there size to take one big boar down. JMO

Thanks for the reply Dylan. But among all the dogs in the pack- when we hit a pig she just looks around as if she's chasing butter flys in her head. I tried getting her all excited before going into a pen letting her watch the other dogs work, she's scene an heard the pigs be worked and seems not to pay any attention at all. Everytime we hit a hog and she doesn't pay any interest I tell myself that she needs to go, but I know I need to be patient. She just doesn't care. Extremely frustrating.

I have a 16 month old pit female that's been scene 4-5 hogs. Awesome dog in the mountain but shows absolutely no interest in catching or in the pig for that matter. I don't know what to do. Any suggestions?

I have a guy here in Hawaii that had dipped his whole reciever box in some type of hard plastic type wax. Once hardened, it was nearly undestructable. I'll get with him and ask, I think the only trouble he had was that it was not practical to change in and out to charge.
Pigdogsupplies.com also has covers you can check them out.

Halfbreed- not sure if you are being serious or if you are joking around. But if you are serious, you may want to check out some medical references.
