Shock him and tell him to get quiet. That works for me and hasn't messed up any of my dogs.

I recently bought a pair of male dogs that are just about what your talking about in your dog . And I gave 2000 for the pair. I work out of town and when I come home I like to hunt so they where worth that to me because I where almost finished dogs.

Most of my curs have about a 1/4 running walk in them for range and bottom. This has worked for us in are hogdogs and cow dogs.

I think the alph would be the way to go if you didn't have a shocking system and needed a tracker as well but most of us have a shocker and a garmin as well so I think that is why the alph hasnt went over as good. If you got a stick welder at home you can repair it yourself. They have some really good stick rod out now that does a good job. Just go to the welding supply store they should have some . You can buy it by the pound. I would tell ya the name of the rod I've been using but I'm out on the road on a turnaround.

Are you just trying to add a second collar? If so just flip the toggle switch down and hold the button on the collar down until it beeps then hold them side by side . I think that's how I did mine . But I can't get mine to add the third collar yet and I've got the owners guide.
