He is a big red BMC cross.
He is a natural bay dog!
Bays tight and keeps his eye on the Hog.
He weighs 74 pounds and is red and has a big flat head and a neck as big.
That's how he slipped out of his collar!
What's gets me is that if it were a poodle or a toy dog everybody would be looking!
But a working Dog goes missing and no one cares. They act like your bothering them asking about a missing dog.
I would give a whole lot more for the dog than I would most people!

I have  5  4 and 1/2 month old pups good looking hoggers.
First time in woods got on 9 hogs  with no older or trained dog to lead

They had never seen a hog before.
 I took a towel  to a friends house and let his hogs mouth the towel never letting it touch the ground just the hogs
I brought it home and let the pups play and smell it.
Then we went out back of my house in creek bottom for a walk playing with towel.
They found hog scent almost imeadatly whineing and sniffing the ground and air
Then took off liike a rocket into the brush and thicket
well what do you know they found a hog .All were silent on track and bayed like hell when they found the hog.

Time after time they found scent and took off, Ran me to rags.
I did not expect much from untrained pups that had never seen a hog before,

After 5 hours later they had found 9 hogs , no kidding.

And I would not eat dogfood. So the if you would not eat it  dosn't really fly. and again I did not feed it to him.!!!

My pup just Died from eating moldy tomatos. He ate them thursday and died this morning .
Systems just like Parvo.throwing up, diariea ,dehydration.Had him tested for parvo , results neg. I learned that tomatos are toxic for dogs  when they are green and when they get moldy . The mold is a very bad toxin. and the leaves and stem are toxic to dogs and humans and can Kill both.Can you belive that. Any mold dogs eat except bread and cheese is toxic for dogs. Dont feed your dog moldy dog food either.

I will miss my pup .He was very smart and house broken at 2 a half 3 monts old.
He would talk to you with a little whineing voice. and rub and love on you.
He tryed to fight it off. I got him to the vet this morning and he died in my arms.
I know he was just a dog.But my dogs ae my children and I cryed like a baby.

I am looking for a large male BMC to breed my gyp to. To get me a new pup.

Man I have never had a dog die from eating scraps ,not that I know of antway. The tomatos were thrown outside in the comost pile.
I seen him eat them and called him a crazy dog when he did it.I never thought it would kill him or I would have dug it out of his throt.

waylon, i do have a son, but he lives in east tx with his mom so a kid aint no worry. as far as farmers, if it wernt for farmers, where you sod busters be? i just want another house pet and aint buying a potbelly or bringing another dog inside.

       A sod buster is a farmer. LOL Think about it. SOD as in ground Buster as in plowing.

I feed my dogs minced Garlic in their food. It keeps of the fleas,Ticks,and mosiqitos. Matter of Fact it keeps them off of me to.
