I have a pair of Chippewa pull ons they are comfortable and im on my second season with them and no leaks so far. Im in central Florida so leaks were my concern as well. They will also repair them for you if you have any problem.

Some people may have other opinions. But to me bottom is how far and how fast A dog will move a track. cast hunting to me is when you find a fresh track and cast the dog or dogs on that track.

Thanks guys. I have a flat top upper with all magpul stuff now. I have checked out cheaper than dirt. Forgot about sportsmens guide though. I would like a quadrail though. Im thinking a simple red dot or something. What are your thoughts on them and is there anything better you would recommend?

I have a yellow dog i was told was cecil and partin blood. i have no idea how true it is but he favors the black and tan dogs build almost perfect. i got him from a man from south florida as a 5 week old pup. if everything ive read about partin dogs is true i can certainly believe he has some partin blood in him. and would love to have a few more just like him. he strikes his own hogs and is almost all catch. like i said i was told he was partin and have no proof but the man i got him from has no reason to lie and he gave me the pup. so it wasnt just a selling point. But have any of you guys ever heard of cecil dogs? ive tried to research them and come up with nothing.

I feed river run. Ive fed the hi nrg and the hi protein and didn't see a big difference from the 21/10 so thats what I feed now. Its around 21 or 22 a bag. I believe the hi nrg is around 28 or 29 a bag.

Yes I have hunted from several different climbing stands. If I hadn't! I would try it out. I love slipping in last minute. The deer or hogs never know what hit em if you climb in the right spot. I actually feel safer in my climber than in a ladder stand. Guess its because the rail goes all the way around. Not sure why really but i like it.

I would like to help you out but you are gonna be here the wrong time of year. Florida is totally different than Texas I live here and have only met a couple people that will let new people tag along and thats by invite only. I hunt almost all management area. Which doesn't open till November. So im usually trying to hunt deer at the same time. I have a ton of hogs and farm land around my house but no matter how much ive asked or who ive asked they wont let anyone hunt it. They all seem to be worried about liability. I cant speak for anyone else in Florida but it seems to be nearly impossible to get land to hunt unless you have a pocket full of money.

Im not usually 1 to say something about peoples negative comments but sometimes they are rediculous. I browse this forum everyday via mobile at work and this thread really struck me wrong. ive been dog hunting for my entire life and some dogs are just built that way no matter what ya feed em or how much you worm em. Ive fed cheap and ive fed not so cheap. some of you paying 45$ a bag or more thats your business getting on here bashing a man because you think his dogs are to skinny is B.S. Im pretty sure he didnt ask you your opinion on how many ribs should show on his dogs or if he should maybe refinance his house to feed em. hes just another fellow hunter like the rest of us thats loves doggin and the great outdoors. good looking bunch of dogs in my opinion. good luck and be safe.
