I have a dog box question. I hunt out of a ford explorer I have been using plastic pet taxis for a dogbox but am considering building a box on a platform that goes in the reese hitch. Has anyone used 1 like this pros and cons or just some thoughts on it. I normally only haul 2 maybe 3 dogs at the most. Thanks

I just bought a very thin mare and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to fatten her up safely but quickly. She is a 10 year old tennessee mare. I have wormed her out and had her teeth cked.Any suggestions anyone?

In need of a new yard dog my old heeler recently passed on. I live in the mountains of eastern ky and need something to keep critters away from the house. Not many hogs here but bear,bobcat, and coyote are very plentiful. I am thinking a bmc or maybe a cat, a dog that will put a poltician or salesman down the road is a plus as well. Opinions anyone

 I use a couple of the large plastic dog crates. Set side by side then run a large rubber strap across the front top and another behind them. You can haul a couple medium size dogs on each side super light weight and easy to handle. Not anything fancy but very functional.

 I think that Phil Robertson is a decent God fearing man and it is a shame and disgrace that he has been suspended for speaking the truth. This is one of the very few tv shows that a family can sit down and watch and not be worried about the message being send. I think that as a nation we need to turn back to the morals and values that we were founded on.  I for one feel that if A&E feels the need to ban Mr Robetson I feel that A&E has no place in my home and will not be watched again.

I have a Chinaman bred dog and a linebred Carver dog that I intend to use as studs. I am looking for a couple Elhew bred pointer females to cross them on.

 I have 2 real good game bred male pits and the search is on for the right pointer females. We will see how it works out. Thanks guys for all the info

 I found out this evening that a close friend of mine was diagnosed  today with bladder cancer . He goes tomorrow for more test and discuss treatment options.

 I have always fed bread to my dogs but had never heard of feeding it to the horses. I have a mare that was neglected before I got her i may try adding a little bread to her grain just to see how it does for her. Thanks
