To me the fat dog makes sense. 2 cups no exercise trim the food back a Lil at a time down to 1 cup a day. My concern would be the thin dog receiving that much food with no exercise and staying thin.

I can let the other dog (1/2 BMC, 1/2 Walker) run around and she wont run off, if I let my Mt. Cur (the fat one) he's gone.

I think this was handled badly by all parties.  What I don't understand is when the dog jumped out of the car if he wanted to he would have ran straight to someone and tried to defend his owner.  There were atleast two times when the cops reached for the dog and he kinda backed away when he could have just snapped at them.  When the last cop briskly walks up and pressures the dog the dog does snap but is not lunging at the cop he is already back on the ground by the time the cop shoots him.  I just feel like if the cops would have let him the owner easily could have got his dog calmed down and placed somewhere safely out of the way.  And if your gonna shoot anything kill it fast.  Good lord he shot the dog several times and then just backed up to watch it sieze up and die.  Just put it out of his misery.  

I understand what you are saying and agree to an extent. With that said, you cannot dictate a tame or wild animals aggression or action the first time you've ever seen the animal in question. Secondly, you only shoot as many rounds as necessary to stop the aggressor. Especially in public. I agree that they should have tried OC spray or something but I dont know what was going through there minds either. Good post Whistler.

If those officers fill that the man was distracting the investigation from themselves or other officers they can arrest for obstruction. Dont play victim, that guy new what he was doing, thats why he immediately turned around and didn't argue. Besides theses cops that are out of control are keeping food on your table so, your welcome. If a dog came at me I would smoke it too. We dont know the story behind this so I'm not going to say anything about what was going on and put my intelligence at risk but I will say the dog looked very aggressive to me. It sucks that the man lost his dog but I bet he'll drive on home next time and not stick around where he doesn't belong.

Proof, that in urban areas cops are completely out of control.  This type of police state mentality is moving into rule areas as well.  I feel like we are living in Nazi Germany.  Cops are kicking doors in without warrants or probable cause, shooting and beating whom ever or what ever they want.  At some point we are going to have to stand up and say enough is enough.  Cops go home and mind your own business.

First off you need to know that I don't hunt in the summer. Ok, I'm feeding Diamond High Energy about 2 cups once a day. One of my dog stays lean and never has a problem......... the other, not so much. Do I cut his portion down to 1 cup once a day or do I need to change dog feed?

Agreed! It may be the best deal ever but if you don't I feel like your not trying to sale it. It's really idiotic when people are trying to sell a vehicle and don't post a pic.

My concern (and it may be stupid) would be the amount and thickness of the hair. Would you have to worry about it over heating?

I'm probably gonna catch hell from yall on here but I had a dog that did the same thing but it was only with one other dog and they're around the same age (2ish). My dog was new to the pack and I guess he felt like he needed to establish dominance. Anyway, they start at it and we'd brake it up and then repeat cycle. Finally we let them go at it (supervised) on the way back to the truck. They went at it for MAYBE 10 seconds and broke themselves up. Now, they hunt together and get along great, you could put them in the same Kennel if you wanted.
